Silver Knight’s Uma Darling Drina at North Star is the first German Shepherd added to our program. Uma was born in Walla Walla, Washington, at Silver Knight’s Shepherds. Her dam was imported from Serbia and her sire from Poland, both coming from distinguished Western German Show Lines.
This beautiful young girl is quickly maturing into the traditional Western German Show Line conformation with a strong, elegant presence and a beautifully loyal disposition. Uma amazes us every day with her intelligence, attentiveness, and eagerness to learn. She has a very level temperament and is gentle with children as well as our household cats.
One of Uma’s closest companions has been Rossi Sue, who quickly took her under her wing and helps guide her daily in the expectations of life in our home. Watching their bond grow has been a joy.
Uma is expected to become an up-and-coming dam for our program in the fall of 2027, and we look forward to completing her OFA testing and continuing her development as she matures.
We are incredibly excited to watch Uma continue to grow and cannot wait to see what she will bring to the future of our program.
