Pistol Fanny Rue, the cornerstone of our breeding program. Born on September 1, 2020, in the serene West Kootenai region near Rexford, Montana, Fanny’s story began in the picturesque Amish community of RM Horses. She entered our lives during a transitional time, shortly after the loss of my mare, and her arrival at just 8 weeks old brought a playful spark to the cold, snowy Montana winter.

Fanny was raised alongside Payslee Sue, our cherished 11-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi matriarch. Payslee’s legacy of kindness, intelligence, and spirited personality helped shape Fanny into the charismatic, sassy companion she is today.

As a retired dam, Fanny consistently produced healthy, robust litters, with every puppy thriving under her care. She was a devoted mother who remained deeply engaged with her puppies throughout their first 8 weeks before they transitioned to their new homes. Her nurturing nature and dedication to her puppies were truly unmatched. Over the course of her breeding career, Fanny produced 45 puppies with a 100% survival rate.

Fanny has now graduated into a new role, helping to raise the future generations we add to our program. She transitioned beautifully into retirement and was spayed in March 2026.

We want to sincerely thank all of the families who have loved her offspring so well. Every one of her puppies remains with their original families except for one, who was rehomed through no fault of his own, but because of the terminal health concerns of his original adopter. We continue to receive wonderful feedback about the dispositions of her offspring, and it fills our hearts every single time.

Fanny is the pride of our program and will remain a cherished part of our home. Her legacy will continue to shape the heart of our breeding program for years to come.
